Once you start cleaning your house, In Namibia the most dreaded place to clean is a bathroom! It has dirt, and grime might have an odor as well. Who wants to deal with that!? But, unfortunately, we all have to!

We have a few tips and hacks for you to clean each and every nook and cranny of your bathroom. Just read along!

We will advise you to start with the bathtub and keep the floors for the end. Then, whatever residue or water spillage may happen, it will be cleaned at the end.

We are pro-natural ingredients, so we will suggest cleaning with natural ingredients. You will be able to find these ingredients in your pantry, a plus point as it will save cost!

Bath Tub:

It helps you and your family stay clean, but it is important to keep it clean. We understand that it accumulates a lot of grime and might as well be slippery if not cleaned regularly.

• Dryer sheets
• Dish wash soap
• Warm water

The dryer sheets may surprise you here! But take our word and give it a try! Mix warm water and soap, dip the dryer sheets in it. Then, start wiping the walls and base of the tub. It will be squeaky clean in no time!

Tip: Add baking soda to the surface before wiping with dryer sheets.

Toilet:

This is the hardest one. First, you need to keep it clean regularly; otherwise, there is a chance of odor and germs!

• Baking Soda

We suggest you clean the toilet bowl with a regular toilet brush and cleaning solution. Put in about 3 cups of baking soda in the tank so that with every flush, the toilet stays clean and germ-free.

Tip: You can also use dish wash soap or a self-cleaning ball for the toilet bowl.

Vanity:

This is an easy one. You just need to wipe everything.

• Dish wash soap
• Micro-fiber cloth
• Warm water

Mix the soap in water and wipe everything with the cloth dipped in this mixture.

Tip: Add vinegar for extra shine and a brand new look.

Floor:

Take all the removable objects off of the floor and get down to clean them! First, wipe or wash away all the dirt and grime. Then, for that extra shine and clean smell, try this hack.

• Baking soda
• Vinegar
• Micro-fiber cloth

Mix baking soda and vinegar and dip a cloth in the mixture. Then, wipe the entire floor, and it will smell clean and shine!

Tip: Wall tiles can also be cleaned with this mixture.
